Move.me isn't a game. It's a software server application for the PS3 System that uses the Playstation move motion controller as an input device.Similiar to the Microsoft Kinect SDK.
It appear's Sony has realised that the sales for the Playstation Move weren't as pleasing as they would like them to be , so have opened up the system so various programmers could use this technology for other applications which would sell more units.
Introduction and explanation from a Sony rep at the Games Developers Conference 2011
The examples they show on their website are applications such as,games and tools that support learning, physical therapy, sports physiology, music and the creative arts and augmented reality,3D and other leading edge technologies.
The reception on the news that Sony is opening up it's system is well, mainly people saying that because Microsoft did, Sony have to.Which is probably true, but it seems most would rather develop on the Kinect SDK rather than the move.me because , you don't need to own a Xbox to use the Kinect, but for the move.me you need to have a PS3 running.Which increases the cost in which to develop.

Kinect was doing quite well before the hackers got into it.
This announcement from Sony is just bizarre. So you have to have the Move controller, the EyeToy, a PS3, a network, and a PC just to get started? Talk about complicated. And the Move system isn't even that good to start with. I played with mine for a few hours when I first got it and haven't touched it since. Sure, it's more accurate than the Wii... but I found it less fun because it has to be recalibrated all of the time, and you can't move out of a small area or it can't see you any longer. I was very disappointed.
